The QYC Youth Sailing Program
The goal of the QYC YSP is to provide a safe, encouraging and fun environment for students to learn to sail, improve their sailing skills, or learn to race. The YSP focuses on the fun, enjoyment, accomplishment and self-confidence that results from learning a life-long skill. The YSP is based on a US SAILING curriculum. Instruction is carried out in age- and skills-appropriate groups. Students also learn the proper care of boats. Safety standards are taught and strictly enforced.

The Sailing Program
Students learning to sail or seeking to improve their sailing skills should sign up for the Sailing Program. Classes are divided by age and skill level. There are four 2-week sessions scheduled throughout the summer of 2008.

The 2008 Racing Program
The Racing Program sessions are returning to the 4-week format this summer. The program offers intensive racing training for advanced students. Students in session R1 will race at Marblehead Jr Race Week. Students in session R2 will race at the Jr. Olympic Festival. All students must have previous sailing instruction, the directors approval, and a strong interest in racing to enter this program.
